The Washington Duke Inn & Golf Club,
located on the campus of Duke University in Durham, NC, completed
their $25 million expansion and total renovation to its facility
and grounds and celebrated on September 24, 2005 with a crème
de la crème gala. The theme "Celebrating A New Era of Southern Hospitality" was used in a uniquely designed gala invitation and color-coded pocket program that guided guests through the evening and through the hotel. Six press releases were written and distributed over the course of several weeks to announce the completion of the expansion to national, regional and local business, meeting, golf, special event, bridal and travel media contacts. |

A creative invitation was designed
for a B.E.P. Forming Systems' cocktail reception at the 2006
World of Concrete Show in Las Vegas. A limited print run
was necessary so invitations were digitally printed. |

BD Technologies graduated and celebrated three of
their BD Technologies Incubator companies 'leaving the nest'
on Thursday, May 31, 2001. Created unique invitation,
response card and envelope, plus the evening's program. Also
handled the evening's marketing and media initiatives.

The home was open to the public in April 2001 to raise over
$20,000 for the Duke Children's Hospital and Health Center.
Creative fliers and guest handouts were developed.
Communicated with the home's sponsors on materials and
displays for customer literature room. Developed press
releases and handled media coverage. Results: ABC and WB22
news stories. Newspaper coverage in The Business Journal,
Herald Sun, News and Observer and Wake Weekly. |

This two-color invitation - a 2002 Summit Award Winner
-depicts wind swirling around a pop-up home and was
developed for the unveiling of the first disaster-resistant,
cast-in-place concrete home built in North Carolina. Three
marketing open house events at the home were scheduled for
local media, government agencies, architects, realtors,
structural engineers, home builders associations and more.

Smart Commute @ RTP is a cooperative initiative
by companies in Research Triangle Park, NC, that promotes
smart commuting alternatives from carpooling, vanpooling,
mass transit and biking. The effort culminated in a grand
finale event, Jammin' in the Park. Created and developed the
event invitations and response cards. |
